The Ventus Collection

Ventus is Latin for wind and seemed an appropriate name for the collection which draws inspiration from the base of the first modern wind generator built by Smith-Putnam in Rutland, Vermont circa 1941.  Wind has been harnessed by man since ancient times for energy and propulsion and is a source of powerful intrigue to Heath and Landon.  Protective of our planet’s vast natural resources, the sisters wished to express the beauty and fluidity of this abundant resource through their métier.  The result is a light, airy collection with a hint of diamonds representing the hidden particles in every breeze.
